Clayton Schulz started his law enforcement career with the Marathon City Police Department in 1998 after graduating from UW Eau Claire. He moved in the Antigo Police Department in 1999, where, over the next five years, he specialized in Narcotics Investigations and was a sniper on the Langlade County Special Response Team.  

He joined the Everest Metro Police Department in 2004, serving in various positions including, Field Training Officer, Detective Sergeant and Operations Captain.  After nearly eight years as Operations Captain, he was promoted to Chief in March of 2018.
