Chris Conley joined WSAU in 2004 as News Director and morning news anchor, became Brand Manager, and then in 2009 was named Operations Manager for the Midwest Communications broadcast group in Central Wisconsin. 

Conley began his career in radio at 15, and in his 30th year of broadcasting, having also worked in Connecticut, Long Island, and suburban New York City. Conley has been honored by The Associated Press and the broadcasters associations of Wisconsin, New York, and Connecticut for on-air excellence. Conley can be heard weekday mornings on the WSAU Wisconsin Morning News and is the writer and announcer for ‘This Day,’ which is also heard on multiple radio stations across the Midwest. He also provides the play-by-play voice of DC Everest high school sports on Fox Sports Radio and was honored as play-by-play announcer of the year in 2014 by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association. Conley is the father of four and lives in Wausau. In his spare time he enjoys live theater, writing, horses, and building model trains.
