Open Government Records

Because transparency in government is vital to a healthy democracy, Wisconsin Watch provides a list of resources for citizens and government officials regarding open government in Wisconsin. There is a long tradition of openness with regard to public meetings and records in the state, including what may be the nation’s first state records law, which was enacted in 1849. This resource is open to all.
