Dee J. Hall is co-founder of Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism. She joined the staff as managing editor in 2015 after 24 years as an editor and reporter at the Wisconsin State Journal.
After graduating in 1982 from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and Spanish, she worked at newspapers in Indiana, Kentucky, Florida and Arizona before joining the Wisconsin State Journal. She has won more than three dozen local, state and national awards for her reporting. In 2017, WCIJ's Failure at the Faucet series about drinking water challenges facing Wisconsin won a national award from the Society of Professional Journalists for investigative reporting.
