Doors open at 6 pm. Movies start at 6:30, followed by discussion. The Florida Project is a 2017 drama set over one summer in the life of 6-year-old Moonee and her single mother Halley. While Halley struggles to pay rent in the motel they call home, Moonee and her friends explore life in the shadows of the ultimate dream factory, Disney World. Stars Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actor, Willem Dafoe. Sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire student chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
