Doors open at 6 pm. Movies start at 6:30, followed by discussion. Spotlight, the 2015 Academy Award Winner for Best Picture, tells the true story of the Boston Globe investigative reporting team that uncovered the widespread and hidden sexual abuse of children by Catholic priests that shook the church and ultimately the world. Stars Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Liv Schreiber and Rachel McAdams. Sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire student chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
